NAMUTECH Co., Ltd., a cloud solution company that is leading the transformation to the era of the 4th industrial revolution, including big data, artificial intelligence, and data centers, mainly on the cloud platform, established NAMU Intelligence in Gwangju, the center of artificial intelligence. NAMUTECH Co., Ltd. is the 7th artificial intelligence (AI) company nested in Gwangju.
NAMUTECH signed a business agreement on April 28 with Gwangju City, which is speeding up efforts to attract businesses to create an artificial intelligence industrial ecosystem, and established “NAMUTECH intelligence” corporation and office a month later.
NAMUTECH is an artificial intelligence expert company established in 2001. It focused on virtualization and grew to eight domestic and foreign companies, securing technologies for the 4th industrial revolution ranging from 5G NFV (Network Function Virtualization), cloud platform, artificial intelligence, big data, and smart city through constant R&D.
The establishment of ‘NAMU Intelligence’ is expected to play a major role in the creation of an artificial intelligence ecosystem in Gwangju, including the establishment of AI business platforms and the training of professionals, and it is expected to contribute greatly to the creation of startups and local jobs as well as the establishment of the artificial intelligence hub city of Gwangju.
