NAMUTECH, a leading cloud company, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the “NAMUTECH M Valley R&D Center” at Magok Industrial Complex in Gangseo-gu, Seoul on the 31st of March.
The NAMUTECH R&D center, which will reflect smart city technology, is scheduled to be completed in September 2022. It will be built with a total floor area of about 6000m2 on seven floors above ground and three floors below ground. Including companies that will move into the Open Innovation Center, it will accommodate up to 300 or more employees.

This R&D center investment is in line with the global strategy of NAMUTECH. The company expects to promote the development and convergence of high-value-added solutions such as cloud, virtualization, artificial intelligence, and big data and secure competitiveness through joint research. Also, it plans to create synergy through active exchanges with IT, pharmaceutical, and bio companies located in the Magok Industrial Complex.
NAMUTECH CEO Chul Jung said, “The M Valley R&D Center of NAMUTECH will become the center of growth to penetrate the global cloud market.” He added, “We will maximize synergy by reinforcing communication and collaboration between R&D sectors such as virtualization, cloud, artificial intelligence, and big data.”
