NAMUTECH, Signed MOU for joint development of cloud and AI-based distance education platform

 

NAMUTECH, in cooperation with a domestic educational institution and a specialized company for distance education solutions, is actively promoting the cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) based distance education platform business.

NAMUTECH, Open Cyber University of Korea, and Mediopia Tech have signed an MOU for cloud and AI-based domestic and foreign distance education and future education service activation.

According to the agreement, NAMUTECH with remote work and cloud-native platform technology, Open Cyber University of Korea with over accumulated 2 million students and 10,000 students yearly, and Mediopia Tech with distance education platform specialist, are jointly promoting AI and cloud-based Korean-type next-generation distance education and future education service business.

In the next-generation distance education and future education service business, NAMUTECH will be in-charge of containerizing and implementing the microservice architecture (MSA) and AI technology on Mediopia Tech’s distance education platform, EduTrack, as well as building, operating, and developing the multi/hybrid cloud including SaaS migration.

Open Cyber University of Korea and Mediopia Tech will provide planning, EdTech market, policy trends, various education models, and distance education experts for the next-generation remote work platform and future education service.

Open Cyber University of Korea is collaborating with NAMUTECH in pursuing ‘Innovation ABC Academy’, a non-degree professional education service that fosters core personnel of the 4th industrial revolution that will lead future industries such as AI, big data, blockchain, IoT, and cloud.

A NAMUTECH official said, “With this agreement, we will develop and deliver a distance education platform that combines container and AI technology to Open Cyber University of Korea” and added, “we will expand this service to over 100 universities, public institutions, and associations with Mediopia Tech.”
