NAMUTECH and ATTOResearch Collaborate on Cloud Native Business

NAMUTECH, a cloud platform specialist company led by CEO Chul Jung, and ATTOResearch, a company specializing in software-defined infrastructure, headed by CEO Jae Woong Chung, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for cooperation in cloud-native business.

The agreement ceremony, attended by CEO Chul Jung of NAMUTECH, CEO Jae Woong Chung of ATTOResearch, and employees from both companies, was held at the NAMUTECH headquarters in Gangseo-gu, Seoul. It was organized to merge cloud platforms and software-defined infrastructure (Software Defined Infrastructure) based on synergies between the two companies, pioneering cloud and artificial intelligence markets and securing future growth drivers.

Through this agreement, both companies will jointly promote a cloud-native business, integrating NAMUTECH’s cloud-native PaaS platform product ‘Cocktail Cloud’ with ATTOResearch’s IaaS platform and SDN technology.

NAMUTECH and ATTOResearch have shared a strategic goal to maximize mutual benefits through specific cooperation that leverages both companies’ strengths in cloud platform and IaaS, SDN technology solutions, domestic and international market development, enhancement, and government and private cloud-native projects.

ATTOResearch’s collaboration targets NAMUTECH’s ‘Cocktail Cloud,’ the first container-based cloud platform in Korea, which offers multi-cluster and hybrid cloud environments, and features a single control point screen for integrated management of all applications, physical servers, and cloud infrastructure.

Additionally, in response to the artificial intelligence market, it provides features for sharing, partitioning, and monitoring GPU resources. Through the GPU dashboard, administrators can monitor detailed GPU cluster usage, GPU utilization, GPU memory, temperature, power, etc., and view detailed GPU resource usage per node and the list of Pods using GPU resources.

NAMUTECH has secured the largest financial references in Korea, including the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency, Korea Environment Corporation, Korean Intellectual Property Office, LH, Hyundai Card, Shinhan Bank, and NH Nonghyup Bank. It is actively pursuing the expansion of cloud-native PaaS platform business and technology enhancement by supporting the construction of private and public cloud platforms and linking artificial intelligence and big data technologies.

ATTOResearch provides tailored cloud solutions to various industries, including data centers, private and public IT infrastructure, and administrative information networks, offering unique software-defined infrastructure (SDI) solutions.

Chul Jung, CEO of NAMUTECH, stated, “Through collaboration and solution integration with ATTOResearch, we expect to contribute to the activation and growth of the cloud-native market,” and added, “We plan to continuously materialize our cooperation to jointly create a successful model for cloud-native implementation.”

Jae Woong Chung, CEO of ATTOResearch, expressed his ambition, saying, “We will accelerate the expansion of the cloud-native business through our customized cloud specialist services and cooperation with NAMUTECH.”
