NAMUTECH Subsidiary Acornsoft Launches Cocktail Cloud as SaaS

Acornsoft, a subsidiary of NAMUTECH, has announced the launch of its cloud-native PaaS (Platform as a Service), Cocktail Cloud, as a SaaS (Software as a Service), transitioning from its previous on-premises delivery model.

Cocktail Cloud’s SaaS offering boasts several key advantages, including a reasonable pricing policy, pay-as-you-go billing, top domestic technical and development teams, CSAP (Cloud Security Authentication) standard certification, operation of multiple SaaS services, a specialized cloud-native consulting team, and the provision of customized solutions including integration with internal systems. It facilitates the convenient setup, deployment, and management of Kubernetes-based environments through a user-friendly UI/UX (User Interface/User Experience), a task previously manageable only by developers.

The service automates application deployment and operations and supports multi-cluster environments such as private clusters, Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service), Microsoft AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service), Google GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine), and Naver NKS (Naver Kubernetes Service). Users can install and upgrade Kubernetes clusters, node groups, storage, and node autoscaling through a user interface.

With CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipeline functionality, the service automates application development and operations, offering integrated service management and inter-cluster application data backup and recovery capabilities. It provides independent workspaces for organizations and teams, along with the ability to allocate and manage computing resources, and supports real-time monitoring of multi-cluster infrastructure resources, application status, and networks.

Lee Young-soo, CEO of Acornsoft, stated, “The Cocktail Cloud SaaS service significantly contributes to providing cloud-native based SaaS services through collaboration with SaaS companies. At a time when the government is initiating numerous cloud-native conversion projects starting this year, we expect to lead the cloud market with our SaaS-based PaaS platform services and drive significant change.
